Perfect Binding:

Pacific Bindery has three perfect binders:
1.The 21-pocket Muller Martini Corona C12 which is capable of perfect binding with either Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) or EVA hot melt glues. It is also capable of binding Lay-Flat using PUR glue.
2.The 18-pocket Starbinder is capable of large, medium and shorter runs and is a conventional EVA hot melt perfect binder.
3.The Horizon perfect binder is also a conventional EVA hot melt perfect binder for short run work.

Characteristics of our perfect binding are printable spines, strength in the bind and a clean, elegant look.

4 line rotary scoring on covers produces a crisp and accurate spine and ensures a nice hinge for covers to open neatly and easily.
Automatic signature recognition system: ASIR II; reject-o-matic gate provides excellent quality control which identifies mis-feeds, blanks, out-of-register signatures on-line and stops the line on a recognized mis-feed.
Zenith S in-line 3-knife trimmer and stacker provides precise, in-line trimming with improved efficiency and speed.
