Harvey and Erna Heinz were the two founders of Pacific Ruling & Folding Ltd. From ruling and folding the company grew and added stitching, perfect binding, coiling and many other services. Harvey and Erna had been bindery workers all their working lives. They had excellent training when they were young, and were highly skilled. Their sons, Randy and Gerry were trained to have the same high standards that they believed in.
In today’s environment, owners Gerry Heinz and Brad Clement, along with General Manager, Kris Bovay, continue to maintain those standards and to plan for and support the growth of the company.

During the last 5 years the Company has undergone significant growth. It has been very necessary to continue on this growth path – into new markets and services, in some cases with new technology and new equipment – in order to survive in a shrinking marketplace. Digital technology has impacted the print market, which has therefore impacted the bindery market.
The pressure of continuous growth, change and improvement results in internal management challenges.
